About Us
THE REPUBLICAN WOMEN OF MONTEZUMA COUNTY (RWMC)
The RWMC is a part of the Colorado Federation of Republican Women (CFRW) in District III Southwest CFRW District III SW consists of 5 Women's Groups:
- Republican Women of Montezuma County
- Archuleta Republican Women
- Southwest Republican Women
- Lone Cone Republican Women
- Ouray Republican Women
CFRW is affiliated with the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) the largest all-women political organization in the world.
We are focused on:
- Grassroots political activism
- Having an informed membership and electorate through education and activities
- Working for the election of Republican Platform nominees thru Meet & Greets, Fundraisers and Rally's
Meetings:
2nd Thursday of each month at the Baymont Inn, 2279 Hawkins Street, Cortez. Meetings are open to the public, but due to space limitations please RSVP by the prior Monday by emailing mcgopwomen@gmail.com.
11:30am: Meet & Greet & start Lunch, 12pm - 1pm: Meeting. Cost is free, includes lunch if you RSVP my the Monday before the meeting..
Membership:
We are looking for engaging women (and men) who want to help us in outreach, education and candidate help, fundraising and events. This is a rewarding and essential service to our county. Sponsorship by another member is required to join, if you're new to the area or don't know any RWMC members, we recommend you start attending meetings so that we can get to know you and you can find a sponsor. Membership is $30/year, Spouses can also join for $10/year, you must be registered to vote as a Republican.
